Join the California Coastal Cleanup Day at Loon Point Beach on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, from 9AM to 12PM. This year’s cleanup takes the form of the World’s First "Trashure Hunt" — a fun and engaging way to care for our coastline while competing for prizes. Volunteers will work together to remove trash and debris, helping protect marine life and keep our beaches clean and beautiful.

The Summerland Citizens Association (SCA) is the designated Site Captain for Loon Point, ensuring everything runs smoothly and providing guidance for participants.

Bring your friends, family, and community spirit — every piece of trash collected makes a difference. Supplies will be provided, but reusable gloves and buckets are encouraged to reduce waste.
